Last year the Nordic Creative Commons Film Festival gathered thousands of people at over 250 screenings in 13 countries. This year, we are taking the concept one step further.

Cinetopia (http://nordicfilmfestival.us7.list-manage1.com/track/click?u=2b37ce2d14c3c054bac9c8468&id=26562d5774&e=0dff2a5dfc) is a global film festival, taking place wherever you want it to. Cinemas, cafés, cultural institutions or even your own living room can be used to show the movies. At Cinetopia (http://nordicfilmfestival.us7.list-manage1.com/track/click?u=2b37ce2d14c3c054bac9c8468&id=47cde86c49&e=0dff2a5dfc) , 14-22 November 2014, you choose from more than 100 films from around the world. Set a date, a venue and start selling tickets to friends, members or customers. The filmmakers set the minimum price for each film and the income from tickets sold is distributed between you as a host and the filmmaker.

Cinetopia wants to bring filmmakers, cinemas and audiences closer together and create a more transparent system for film distribution, with the desire to tell stories as the foundation. A documentary poem. Burmese Dreaming combines a lyrical musical score with a non-fiction narrative scripted by refugees from Umphiem Mai refugee camp. It is based on the story a young woman who was imprisoned by the Burmese military at age 5.
